Returns Policy


Out West has taken a great deal of care selecting only the best products for you to choose from and we are confident that you will not be disappointed with your purchase. However, we understand that you are unable to touch or feel your selection before it is delivered to you. If, for any reason you are unhappy with your purchased item you can take advantage of our returns policy

To make a return, simply follow the steps below:

  1. Email shop@out-west.co.nz for an authorised returns number.
  2. Complete the reverse side of the packing slip enclosed with your original package.
  3. Repack the item in its original packaging. The item must be unused, and in the same condition as it arrived with you. The hanging tags must still be attached for us to accept a returned product.
  4. The returned item must be received by Out West within 14 days of the original invoice date. Please ensure that you use a signature required courier service to ensure your product is returned safely and in pristine condition. If you do not use this service, Out West takes no responsibility whatsoever for safe receipt of the returned item.
  5. The cost to return the item is your expense.
  6. Once we have received the item in pristine and resalable condition we will be able to exchange the item for another choice or offer you in-store credit against your next purchase.

Because it is very important to us that customers receive their purchase in pristine condition, we cannot exchange or refund any item that is not returned to us in the same condition as it left our premises. Out West cannot accept any item that has been damaged, misused, marked, has signs of use or which has been cleaned in any way.

Returns will only be accepted if made within 14 days of purchase


Faulty Goods

In the unlikely event that your purchase arrives in faulty condition please follow the returns policy procedure. Out West will happily replace or refund the item and the cost of returning the faulty goods.

  1. Email shop@out-west.co.nz for an authorised returns number.
  2. Please return the goods with your receipt indicating if you want a replacement or a refund. Please use a signature required courier service to ensure your product is returned safely and in pristine condition. If you do not use this service, Out West takes no responsibility whatsoever for safe receipt of the returned item.
  3. All refunds will be made into the account that originally made payment for the goods.
As with all branded collections much of Out West's stock is made in extremely limited numbers. Therefore, it might not always be possible to replace like with like. However, we will endeavour to satisfy your alternate wishes.


Other Circumstances

If you wish to return an item and you cannot meet the above requirements, for example the item was received as a gift and you are outside the stipulated timeframes, or the item has developed a fault since you have been enjoying it, please email us quoting your sales invoice number at shop@out-west.co.nz.


Disputes

These terms and conditions and any dispute relating to the supply of Out West products shall be determined under the laws of New Zealand.
